People often ask me what a “normal” day looks like. The truth? There isn’t one.
By day, I’m Chief Digital Commerce Officer at VML EMEA, leading 1,800 people across multiple markets. I’ve also stepped in as the interim CEO of VML Luxembourg. By night (and often in airports, taxis, and hotel rooms), I’m advising Nudge, running a small art business, and other ventures.
I’m up at 6 am most mornings for a dog walk and workout before structuring the day. I’m strict about timeboxing - balancing deep work, presentations, collaboration, and client needs. Tuesdays often mean 5:30 alarms, flights to Luxembourg, and office time with my team before heading to dinners with clients to really hear what’s keeping them awake at night.
Public speaking also keeps me sharp. This week I’ll be on stage at two major events to several hundred people. It forces me to know my industry, the future of commerce, and current affairs inside out.
I haven’t really had a “down day” in 15 years. I’m always on. But curiosity, hustle, and building relationships keep me energised. Living with MS means I listen to my body when I need to rest, but after a couple of quiet days I’m itching to get back in.
On weekends, I recover through painting, tennis, and time with friends and family - but I’ll still spend 2–3 hours on my day job and another 2–3 hours on side projects. That rhythm works for me.
So if you ask me what my day looks like, the answer is: full, varied, and future-focused. And honestly, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
